These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of getofiz.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by Ofiz, Inc. (“Ofiz,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Ofiz is

Ofiz is an online marketplace that connects people and companies with spare office space (“Hosts”) with people who want to book a desk or room by the day (“Guests”). Ofiz does not own the listed spaces and is not a party to any agreement between a Host and a Guest.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account.

Hosts

If you list a space, you represent that you have the right to list it and to allow others to use it (including any permissions required under your lease, building rules, or local law). You are responsible for the condition, safety, and legal compliance of your space, and for the accuracy of your listing.

Guests

If you book a space, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully, to follow the Host's rules, and to leave it as you found it. You are responsible for any damage you cause.

Bookings, fees & payments

A booking is a request until the Host confirms it. Prices and any applicable service fee are shown before you book. Ofiz charges a service fee or commission on bookings. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor, and Host payouts are made according to our payout terms.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms are shown at the time of booking. Either party may cancel in accordance with the applicable policy.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to misrepresent yourself or your space, or to circumvent the Service or its fees.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” Ofiz does not control and is not responsible for the conduct of Hosts or Guests, or for the condition, safety, or legality of any space. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ofiz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to Ofiz in the three months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ofiz harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
